| AV TECHNICIAN II |

| Provides technical support to sustain technical operation. Must possess television production skills. Will work under limited supervision and will need to exercise initiative and judgment. |
| CLERICAL ASSISTANT I |

| Routine office/clerical including answering phone, typing correspondence, processing documents, filing, copying, opening/distributing mail, run errands, word processing, acts as receptionist, giving information, making appointments or distributing forms. Typing/word processing skills may be required. Works under supervision. Data entry knowledge in specific areas may be required. Familiarity with software programs may be helpful/required. |
| CLERICAL ASSISTANT II |

| In addition to performing all duties of Clerical Assistant I, student may respond independently to routine correspondence work without direct supervision. Work requires initiative on part of employee. May train other students or serve as a lead worker. May manage an office in absence of supervisor. |
| DESK ATTENDANT |

| Operates the service desk during a scheduled work period. Check out of equipment and materials. Assist directors with various tasks. Follow policies/procedures identified in Hall. |
| FACILITY ASSISTANT |
| Department: Facilities/Maintenance |
| These positions will report to various supervisors within the department of Residence Life Facilities. The student employee will report to Goodhue Hall at the start of their shift unless otherwise instructed.
Custodial Duties: Assists in custodial duties including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning walls, windows, floors, carpets and maintaining general cleanliness of assigned areas. Assist in set up and take down of rooms and assists with laundry as needed. Basic knowledge of housekeeping is helpful. Some weekend work may be required. Grounds Duties: Helps in maintaining campus grounds; some use of chemicals necessary. Student must be able to operate various grounds equipment. Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record. Work involves outside work and the weather that comes with it. Knowledge of proper techniques, maintenance, and irrigation of vegetation is helpful. Loft Crew Duties: Adjust loftable beds, setup bed frames and place loft kits in student rooms. Maintenance Duties: Room inspections (inspect/repair dressers, desks, mirrors & brackets, bed legs, heaters, doors, hinges & strike plates and closet curtains). Modify ADA rooms. Set up new bike lockers and assists with deliveries. Uses hand and power tools, painting tools, painting products, wood finishing products, and cleaning supplies. Previous experience helpful. Utility Crew Duties: Moves furniture, materials and equipment and sets up for various events. Makes deliveries of various products to the residence halls. Inspects and repairs bike lockers. Job includes ongoing lifting of a variety of items (furniture, supplies, telephone books, etc.) Must have valid driver's license and good driving record. Window Crew Duties: Clean, inspect, replace and repairs screens as needed and washes windows. Students working in this position should be capable of working independently, fully understanding the responsibilities associated with work of this nature. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Student may be appointed for leadworker duties to accomplish assigned tasks. |
| GRAPHIC ARTIST/ILLUSTRATOR II |

| Develops all promotional activities and tools. Must be creative, able to transform and transfer ideas, flexible, and self-motivated. Must be effective in layout, design, drawing, and illustration. |
| GRAPHIC ARTIST/ILLUSTRATOR III |

| In addition to performing all duties of Graphic Artist/Illustrator I, student will do more difficult projects. May supervise other artists and assist their own supervisors with projects and scheduling. |
| PROGRAM MANAGER II |

| Trains office clerical staff. Monitors use and inventory of equipment and supplies. Maintains records and reconcile expenditures. Coordinates payroll process for office. Enforces rules and policies. |
| PROGRAM MANAGER III |
| Department: Cable 19 |
| Works with program director to monitor, evaluate and improve the quality of programs. Coordinates special projects. Assumes a significant role in personnel management of staff. Facilitates technical staff meetings. Serves as a resource person for technical staff. |
| STUDENT PROGRAM ASSISTANT II |

| Under limited supervision, student will take responsibility for a given program, often in its entirety. Work policies may be established, however, student must exercise good judgement. Student may take leadership role, this may include instructing/training other students in use. |
| SUMMER ASSISTANT |
| Department: Office |
| Help to administer the summer camp and conference program in the residence halls. They are available to check guests in to the residence hall, answer questions, provide information about the hall and the campus, and respond to emergencies. SA’s help to prepare the building before groups arrive and serve on a rotating duty schedule. SA’s serve as an Ambassador to our summer guest and provide quality customer service. |
| User Support Assistant |

| Student Assistant provides an first level of computer assistance for software and hardware, trouble-shoots computer problems, assists with some scheduling and training of student staff and presents routine training sessions to students. They are also required to make visits to users to perform various tasks in the Residence Halls. |
| Web Development Assistant |
| Department: ResNET |
| Student Assistant must be able to do basic web development. Entry level student must be familiar with CSS and HTML. Higher level students should have familiarity with PHP and MySQL. Four levels exist for this position with responsibilities ranging from basic web development and site updates all the way to advanced web application development and some database administration. |
