Kubota Carts

Energy efficient diesel Kubota carts have been purchased on campus for use by police services and the Office of Residence Life. They can be converted into bio-diesel consuming vehicles.
Kill A Watt
UW-Whitewater has been using the Kill A Watt to measure how much power the electronics and appliances around campus are using. Many electronics, such as TV’s, have been replaced. Simply connecting these appliances to the Kill A Watt will give a readout of kilowatt-hours used on a large LCD display, which is helpful in assessing how efficient our appliances are. We can also calculate our electrical expenses by the day, week, month, or even an entire year. We can also check the quality of our power by monitoring Voltage, Line Frequency, and Power Factors.
