Please Excuse Our Momentary Interruption Of Sports From Your Regular Daily Schedule begins season number seven this spring with producer/host Andy Tretow, in his third season as host. Britin Kasten joins the cast as this program is your fix on the latest state and national sports debates. The season premiere airs live Thursday night at 7:30 on UWW-TV.
What do you get when you combine Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update with Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report? This Just In!, featuring the creative minds of Ben Kjorlie and Nate Schlosser, combines the latest local, state and national news information with satire. Taped in front of a studio audience at the UWW television studio.
The Blender is UWW-TV’s take on The View and Chelsea Latey! Carolyn Mingari takes over the helm as host of this revamped UWW original, with her panel Kyle Wallace, Kristin Kasper and Andy Becker, who give their insight on the topics, gossip and news that everyone is talking about! The Blender is part of the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning lineup on UWW-TV.
The broadcast team of Robby Proehl, Kaitlyn Howe, Amanda Skrzypchak, Hayley Tenpas and Erin Powers start your day off with an informative and entertaining mixture of news updates, commentary and guest interviews surrounding the campus community. A brand new half-hour series in fall, 2011, Wake Up Whitewater anchors the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning lineup on UWW-TV.
The Quarter Report is UWWTV’s look at national and international news, entertainment, and sports. Produced by Kyle Wallace, Zerenity Washington presents the world and national news that made headlines throughout the week, Kimberly Kim has the latest in arts and entertainment and Kelsy Ostby has up to date sports headlines.
Hayley Tenpas is the co-anchor/producer for Wake Up Whitewater! She is a senior majoring in Broadcast Journalism and minoring in Public Relations and is on track to graduate this May! While at UW-Whitewater she has been involved in many UWW-TV productions beginning with the Sports Anchor position on UW-W TV News back in the spring of 2010. Since then she has anchored and produced for UWW TV News, announced for UW-Whitewater Volleyball, Basketball and Football games, and made guest appearances on Peomiosfyrds, The Blender and The Quarter Report. In her spare time she holds internships with the University of Wisconsin Whitewater’s Marketing and Media Relations Office as well as the American Heart Association-Wisconsin.
Why did you choose this major?:
I chose this major because I have a passion for journalism and a love for TV News.
What are your plans after graduation?:
After graduating I hope to land a job reporting news or sports in Wisconsin.

UW-Whitewater has been an amazing place to learn and I’ve treasured the memories and people I’ve met while being a part of UWW-TV.
