The University Cable Television Network currently provides about 80 channels of programming to every student resident's room.  This includes Madison and Milwaukee area television stations and cable television satellite programming.  The programming is supplied by Charter Communication who offers a similar program service to Whitewater residents.  This cable service is paid through student room rates.  There is no additional charge for the service.  If you have any problem setting up your television be sure to follow the directions available to you under Setting Up Your Television and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).  If the problem continues please go to Where Can I Get Help? for technical assistance.

 Included as part of the cable television services are two electronic bulletin boards.  Cable 19 offers an electronic bulletin board service that can be seen on campus and in the community of Whitewater.  This information service includes announcements on upcoming events, meetings, and student jobs.  Messages for the Cable 19 Electronic Bulletin Board sent electronically to the Cable Television office.  The second electronic bulletin board can only be seen on the Residence Hall Movie Channel RHMC-16.  This information service is only available on campus and it features Channel 16 program promotions.  Messages for the RHMC-16 Electronic Bulletin Board can be sent electronically directly to the cable television office.

 The University Cable Network includes a local student operated channel, Cable 19, which showcases student, faculty, and staff video work.  This channel can be seen on the campus network and in the City of Whitewater.  The Residence Hall Movie Channel RHMC-16 features current and classic movies and can only be viewed on campus.  Premium channels such as HBO and Showtime are not available on this system.
